Information we collect
We collect your basic identifying personal information when you register for our services, such as your name, phone number, and email address. We also collect detailed identity verifications via our KYC form, which includes your ID number, home address, and other relevant personal information. Additionally, your device’s technical information is collected, such as the device ID and device platform. Finally, we collect your in-app usage information as well as the app diagnostics.
Why we collect your information
Collecting your personal information is required as per CBE Regulations and is a necessary component of your registration process and user experience. This information is also essential for app functionality, specifically to process your payments securely.
Your information is also used to augment a wide range of services which enhance and safeguard the user experience. These services include but are not limited to fraud detection, personalized market offerings, improving customer experience, and providing technical support.
The information we share with third parties
All the information and data we collect is processed in a legitimate manner and in compliance with the aforementioned purposes and consent for which it is collected.
We require all third-party entities and organizations providing support services to conform to our policy standards and submit to a compliance audit, thus ensuring that your data is secure at all times.
We also reserve the right to share your data with the relevant legal or regulatory authorities in the circumstances stipulated by the laws and regulations by which we are governed.
Securing Your Information
We are committed to securing the safe storage and transfer of your personal information. All our practices are in compliance with the Egyptian Personal Data Protection Law (PDPL), as well as the relevant national/international banking and data protection laws and regulations.
In terms of securing your information, all of our personal information processes are compliant with global security industry standards such as PCI DSS. Our compliance team also ensures the safe handling of your information at every step.
We are legally precluded from sharing your balance information with anyone other than the account holder or their heirs or legal representatives. We do not accept any liability for losses resulting from, or in any way related to, your sharing of this information.
Retaining your information
You are legally entitled to withdraw your prior consent for us to store and process your data. If you choose to do so, or if you wish to stop enjoying our services at any point, we are obliged under banking regulations to retain your personal information for a period of 5 years following the account closure. Following the conclusion of this 5 years period, we undertake a complete wipe-out of your data and account history on Klivvr platforms.
